Two things come to mind. #1 the min temp spec from Canon R is 0C. #2 LCD panels start to turn dark at some point below 0C and also go dark at high temps. Different panels may very. You can try a complete reset and set up from scratch. However, given your time with the 6D, you are probably in a good position to evaluate if something isn't right with the new body. Doesn't seem right that every single lens you own including Canon has to be adjusted. With you only being 3 mo

Then an you can focus via back button and when you press shutter button all you get is metering and shutter actuation. Hello, I've recently purchased a 6d. It's a great camera and I love the look it has, but I'm having all sorts of troubles focusing. I mainly do portraits, and that requires me to consitently hit sharp focus on the eyes. For the life of me I can't do that. I'll focus on the eye using the middle autofocus point and then will recompose and take uidhT1.
