It's not a track superstar, and asking $3000 more to kit on it to make it more of a racer is counter to the bike's purpose.
Must be a big difference between the USA and the UK. A quick check revealed the Triumph at around £150.00 for a small service and £300.00 for the big service. The Duc was around £186.00 and £228.00 so overall the difference is minimal.
